SSENSE sale: what is actually cheaper delivered to the UK

SSENSE ships from Canada, but for UK orders it handles customs for you, so the checkout price is the delivered price.

What SSENSE charges UK shoppers

• Duties and taxes: for UK orders SSENSE is the importer of record and ships "delivered duty paid", so you pay nothing extra on delivery. (SSENSE help)

• Shipping: UK Express (2 to 3 working days) is £17, free on full-price orders over £200. Sale orders don't count towards free shipping. (SSENSE shipping)

• Make sure your country is set to United Kingdom at the bottom of the page, and look for "Taxes and duties included" on the product page.

How to tell if a sale price is a real deal

1. Note the SSENSE UK sale price and add £17 shipping if it's a sale-only order.
2. Find the same item, same colour, at UK stockists or the brand's own UK site.
3. If the UK price is lower, buy in the UK: returns are usually easier too.

Example: Stone Island 6100057 crewneck

SSENSE stocks the Stone Island 6100057 heavy jersey crewneck (SSENSE listing). The same sweatshirt is £280 on Stone Island's UK site. If SSENSE's UK price plus any shipping is under £280, SSENSE wins.
